Premium Snapback Care & Washing Guide
Your cap is engineered to last, but it deserves the right care. Follow these essential steps to maintain its high-profile structure and vibrant colors:
1. Daily Maintenance
Dust & Lint: Use a lint roller or a soft-bristled brush to easily remove surface dust, lint, or pet hair.
Air It Out: After wearing, let your cap air dry naturally before storing it away to prevent any moisture buildup.
2. Spot Cleaning (For Minor Stains)
Gentle Solution: Mix lukewarm water with a small amount of mild detergent or gentle soap.
Be Gentle: Dab the stained area using a soft cloth or a soft-toothed brush. Avoid scrubbing harshly to protect the fabric's texture.
Rinse: Wipe the area clean with a damp cloth dipped in cold water.
3. Deep Cleaning (Hand Wash Only)
Soak: Fill a sink with lukewarm water and add a tablespoon of mild detergent.
Wash with Care: Submerge the cap, but avoid soaking the bill completely if you want to preserve its maximum stiffness.
Focus Areas: Pay special attention to the internal sweatband, gently rubbing away any sweat or oil buildup.
4. Drying – The Most Crucial Step!
NO TUMBLE DRYING: High heat will shrink the fabric and permanently warp the cap's 6-panel structure.
No Wringing: Gently press out excess water with a clean towel—never twist or wring the cap.
Shape Retention: Stuff the inside of the cap with a rolled-up towel or place it over a cap mold/bowl, then let it air dry naturally at room temperature.
Avoid Direct Sunlight: Keep the cap out of direct sunlight while drying to prevent the colors from fading.
⚠️ What to Avoid at All Costs:
Washing Machines: The aggressive spin cycle can destroy the structured front panels and crush the high-profile crown.
Bleach: Harsh bleaching agents will ruin the premium wool blend and cause permanent discoloration.
Dishwashers: A common internet myth! The extreme heat and aggressive dishwashing chemicals will irreparably ruin your cap.
